OUR LOCATION
Plas Farm Caravan & Lodges Park is located in a beautiful part of North Wales
Option 1 – Junction 24 (12 minutes from Abergele, 5.6 miles)
- Heading towards North Wales, leave the A55 at Junction 24,
- Follow the A547 through Abergele town centre and continue straight over the mini roundabout at Tesco.
- Continue on straight over the following roundabout and then after approximately 1 mile following the castle walls, take the next turning left signposted Rhyd y Foel/Dolwen Farm Shop.
- Travel for approximately 3 miles until you reach an obvious crossroads with a STOP sign (not before) and the first brown tourist sign with “Plas Farm”.
- Turn left towards Betws yn Rhos. Now keep an eye out for another two brown tourist Plas Farm signs, one on the left and one opposite the turning, continue for 0.5 miles passing a lay-by on the right and a wooden gate on the left and take the FIRST available left turning signposted Abergele. (by the first house you come to after the crossroads).
- We are the first house, 200 yards on the left hand side. If you drive into the village you have gone too far.
Option 2 – Junction 22 (10 minutes from Old Colwyn, 3.8 miles)
- As you can see on the map there is an alternative route from Junction 22 (which is also the route if you are traveling from the West) This route avoids the traffic in Abergele and has a wider approach on the B5383.
- Traveling from the East, leave the A55 at junction 22, turn left and go straight over at the mini roundabout onto Llanelian Rd, the B5383.
- Travel straight for approximately 4 miles until you reach Dolwen.
- Turn left at the T junction, travel for approximately half a mile to a crossroad.
- Straight over at the crossroads towards Betws Yn Rhos. Continue for half a mile passing a lay-by on the right and a wooden gate on the left and take the FIRST available left turning signposted Abergele and Plas Farm. (by the first house you come to after the crossroads).
- We are down this road, 200 yards on the left-hand side. If you drive into the village you have gone too far.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo, is a zoological garden located near the town of Colwyn Bay, North Wales. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a great day out for the whole family. The zoo includes Tigers, Penguins, Sea Lions, Lemurs and many more. They have a lemur walk-through enclosure which is amazing, this enclosure is the first of its kind in North Wales and provides lots of great close up photo opportunities with these friendly creatures.
LOCAL ACTIVITIES
For those who don’t wish to travel far, Plas Farm Caravan Park is within easy reach of an 18 hole golf course, tennis courts and bowling green. There are plenty of local walks with spectacular views of the North Wales hills and coast. Adults and children can enjoy miles of coastal cycle paths.
